Five of his cousins, less fortunate than he, enlisted but were all killed or died of disease or wounds. He had resided in Barre continuously since the war, where he had a pleasant home. Infantry. He was Mustered Out on October 10, 1864. (Civil War Research Database System) He married Ann Eliza Kennison. Andrew was a member of J.H. Pickman,Jr. GAR Post#898, Beverly, Mass. (Member #403) They have a photo of him. He was buried in Central Cemetery, Beverly. His information is on the back of the large Abraham Dodge family monument. |
