John Dodge of Middle Chinnock, Somerset, England, was the father of William and Richard who came to America in 1629 and 1638, respectively. They settled in what is now, Salem, Massachusetts.
Tristram Dodge came to Block Island, Rhode Island in 1660/61. He came from England, via Newfoundland, via Taunton, Massachusetts. We believe that his ancestors were came from Northern England

Lineage - We have not yet been able to establish the ancestry of this family.
Hamilton Dodge, b. 5 May 1820, Newport, Orleans Co., Vermont . He enlisted as a Private in the Sixth New Hampshire Infantry Company B. According to Hamilton's Civil War records, he was missing in action 29 Aug 1862 at Battle of Bull Run, Civil War, Manassas, Virginia. Records indicate he was paroled at Groveton Battlefield, (the Manassas area) 4 September 1862. He was mortally wounded at Battle of Bull Run, Civil War, Manassas, Virginia, 29 August, 1862, and he died at Finley Hospital in Washington, D.C. on 12 Sep 1862 of Vulnus Sclopeticum. He is buried in the Soldiers Home National Cemetery, Washington, DC .
He was the son of Samuel Dodge and Olive Putney.

He is the son of Charles Dodge and Mandune H. Knight.

Harmon was the son of Ira Dodge, Jr. and Hannah Mason.

Henry Dodge, Bremer County, Iowa, born 1838, Enlisted: 22 Dec 1863 in the Union Army, 36th Regiment, Iowa Infantry, Co. I
Rank Induction: Sergeant. Rank Discharge: Sergeant
He died during the war on 25 April 1864 at Mark's Mills, Cleveland Co., Arkansas.
Henry was the son of Benjamin Dodge and Mary Jane Francis.

Henry C. Dodge, Connecticut Enlisted: 25 Nov 1861 - Union Rank Induction:
Henry was a Private in Company G, 11th Connecticut Infantry when he was mortally wounded there on 17 September 1862. He died at the Locust Spring/Crystal Spring field hospital nearby in Keedysville, MD on 16 November 1862. He was only 18 years ole.
Henry was the first born child of Schuyler Dodge and Abigail Merrill.
