Miscellaneous Dodge Photos but important nonetheless.
Some of these photos have been acquired from the internet and others have been sent to us in the mail. Please contact us if you sent any of these to us and we will give you the proper credit.

This is a beautiful portrait of William Dodge, who was b. 1758. It was found by Tim Abel who is director of the Jefferson County Historical Society, Jefferson County, New York. William was born in Mansfield, Connecticut, Setp. 5, 1758. His father died of Lockjaw after an accident in which his heel was cut off. William's mother gave him to a Mr. Jonathan Nichols. On May 4, 1777, at the age of 18, he enlisted from Connecticut to serve in the Revolutionary War. His company was commanded by Capt. Benjamin in a regiment led by COl. Prentiss. He was discharged in 1780. He married Lydia Nichols, July 11, 1781.
James William Dodge and his wife, Sadie Alice Lain. Sadie was born in Bee Branch, Chariton Co., Missouri. She was previously married to a 'Carroll'. Their son, William Eugene 'Buddy' Dodge was born in 1919. .
This is a photo of Zenus Upham Dodge, age 16. This photo was sent to us by Diana Bailey. This was taken from a photo album that she has which is not connected to her family and she thought that we would like to have it. She believes that it was taken in Washington County, Vermont. There are other photos in the album but evidently they are not Dodges. We now know that Zenus, is Zenus Upham DODGE born 22 Nov 1859 in Port Townsend, Washington. He was a lawyer in San Francisco His father was Elezser Dodge and his mother was Marian Upham. Both parents were born in Vermont. The brother of Zenus, Jared, was born in California. Zenus also have a brother, Edward, who died at the age of 6 yrs., and a sister, Naomi, for whom we have not further information.

This photo is simply marked N.D. Dodge. Is this a young Nathan Dane Dodge?

Edwin S. Dodge was a descendent of Tristram. His parents were James Parker Dodge and Charlotte Dodge. Rod Baker sent us the photo and he wrote: "Note the name of the photographer at the bottom of the photos - "Buchman & Heartwell. Tucson, A.T." so these were taken before Arizona gained statehood. A.T. stands for Arizona Territory. Edwin had requested a post office licence for the town of Oracle, Arizona probably around 1880. I have no other history on him or his wife. His brother, Eugene Stanley Dodge was my maternal Grandfather".

Rose married Frank Harriman Dodge. Frank was a descendent of Richard Dodge.

Kern Dodge at a board meeting. Kern is a descendent of William Dodge and Mary Mapes Dodge. This is a Tristram Dodge line.

It depicts 3 generations descended from 'Farmer' William Dodge, the first Dodge to arrive in this country in 1629.
This photo was taken in Beverly, Massachusetts in the 1930s.
