We are asking for YOUR help with these requests. Please contact the Dodge Family Association if no other contact is given in the posted request. We have a lot of genealogy requests in other places on this Web site. None of these are really 'new' but all are important and until we figure out a better way of posting genealogy, we will keep this as it is. This page was redone on March 23, 2006

I have a Dodge family bible and a copy of my great, great grandfather, David Dodge's, death certificate, which note his birth date as 1811 in NY State. I have detailed information about his wife, Mahalia Nicholas/Nichols, their children, grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, and great, great, great grandchildren BUT nothing about his parents, and/or his siblings.

Lucretia Dodge b. abt. 1817. m. Peter Fisher, Mar. 8, 1837 in Scioto CO., Ohio. Siblings include O. W. b. abt. 1818, m. Hester Fleming; Francis, m. 1. Ann Wood, m. 2. Sally Kottle - both in Scioto CO., Ohio; Jonathan, b. abt. 1821, m. Teitha Snook on July 2, 1846 in Scioto CO., Ohio.

Seek parents of Moses Dodge b. c. 1797 in Bath, NH
and died Oct. 5, 1843 at Concord, VT, buried Overlook Cemetery in E. Concord, VT. Moses and Susan were married Oct. 29, 1818 at Bath, NH

Alice Dodge, a single woman of Colchester, Connecticut, had child by Samuel Miner/Minard who was married to Tryphena. Tryphena filed for divorce on Aug. 17, 1778 against her husband, Samuel Miner/Minard stating that he had a child with Alice Dodge, a single woman of Colchester and infers that the child, gender unknown, was born about Feb. 1778. Who was Alice? Did she and Samuel ever marry? Samuel Miner/Minard was not found again after this date. Please contact us if you can help

Israel Tremaine Dodge born New York City. Married Ruth Eugenia Walker born New York City. At least one son, Rufus Ogden Dodge b. NYC Feb. 5, 1885, m. Julia Ann Tehan, b. NYC. They had at least one son, Raymond Edwin Dodge b. NYC, March 4, 1908. Could 'Tremaine' be a variation of 'Truman'?  Please contact us if you can help.

Charles B. Dodge married to Matilda Cowger Bott. They had at least 2 children: George B. and William A. In the 1850 White Co. Indiana Census, Charles and Matilda were listed as 30 years old, and George as 7, William as less than 1. Contact us if you can help

"Nabby" Abigail Dodge b. circa 1772 married an Adams. She had a great grand-daughter, Edith L. who's last name, either by birth OR marriage, was Natch. Contact us if you can help

Albert Dodge married to Susan House on June 10, 1836 in LaSalle County, Illinois. They had two children, Albert b. 5-12-1840 and Jane b. 1-20-1844. Contact us if you can help

Alphues (Alphens) R. Dodge married Eliza J. Phelps 5-4-1841 in Chardon, Geanga County, Ohio. THey had at least one child, a daughter, Margarett Viola Dodge. Contact us if you can help

Rosie May Thomas, born 1-1-1870, daughter of Monroe D. Thomas and Laurett Eliza Dodge who were m. 11-23-1866 in Trumbull, Ashtabula Co., Ohio Contact us if you can help

Amanda Chouteau Dodge, born in 1863, in St. Genevieve, MO. She was a slave and her mother was Agatha possibly owned by an Allen from Vermont. A photograph has the name 'Doerge' on the back. Amanda's father supposedly was from Germany. Contact us if you can help

Annette Dodge b. 7-24-1854 in Kenosha, WI, m. Andrew Jackson Buckland on 7-1-1877 in Greate Bend, KS. According to records available, they had four children: Walter Lincoln b. 11-27-1879; Arthur Garfield, b. 11-4-1881; Harriet S. b. 12-13-1883; Hazel b. 3-28-1888. Contact us if you can help

Asa Dodge b. 11-11-1819 in Clark County, MO, d. 11-21-1841. He m. Ellen Amelia Billings, 12-23-1860. She was born in 1841 in Ohio and d. about 1903. They had at least 6 children: Arthur "E", Levi Martin, George "Bill", Bessie or Dessie, and Oscar G. All were born between 1862 and 1888. Barbara Dodge m. Daniel Hanley. Two children: Patrick and L. Kate. Daniel was born about 1830 and she died about 1869. After she died, her husband married for a second time. Contact us if you can help

Barney Dodge, son of Amai (probably a mis-spelling of Ammi) and Lucy Dodge, supposedly born about 1787 in Salem, MA. The record of Barney is from Smithfield, RI. Trying to connect him to the Massachusetts Dodges. Contact us if you can help

Clark Harry Dodge from Detriot in Michigan had a child (a son) with Martha Helena Bergman whom he met in Sweden in 1937. Their son, Harry, was born in the Aland islands in the Baltic Sea in 1938. Clark Harry was supposed to have worked for one of the motor car companies in Detroit.

David Brien Dodge was adopted by a family with the surename of Thibeault. David would like to know WHO he is. If you have any information about David Brien Dodge, please contact the Dodge Family Association.

Aaron Dodge and sister Lydia Dodge, born in Wiscasett, Maine in the late 1700's. Lydia Dodge married Gideon Ball IV. This is not to be confused with the Lydia Dodge who married a Gideon Ball in the Tristram line. We have ancestry coming down from Aaron but cannot find anything going back further.

Charles Oliver Dodge b. 7-22-1863 in Iowa. 1st m. to Evangeline Carter b. in Indiana.. Charles then m. 2nd. Myrtle May Richards 5-7-1905 and he d. 3-22-1943 in Oroville, CA. This first info is from the marriage certificate. Charles divorced Evangeline before 1905. Charles Oliver parents father from NY. and mother from Vermont. Charles had 2 sons Melvin Oliver and Dallas Alton Dodge both b. in Oroville and this line is supposedly from the Tristram Branch of Dodges but the person searching for this Charles has also been told that his branch came over in 1626 and helped settle in Massachusetts, which would be William/Richard branch.. Also, Charles may have taken his name out of the blue.

Looking for marriage records for a Alphens R. Dodge and Eliza J. Phelps married on May 4, 1841 by Elder Isa Chider, Chardon Geanga County Ohio. Also looking for marriage records for Margarett Viola Dodge, Daughter of the two previously listed, to A. H. French of Leroy, Ohio by H. C. Holt, Esq. in Footville Trumbull, ashtabula County, Ohio on Oct. 12, 1871. Also looking for marriage records and birth records of a Rosie May Thomas, daughter of Monroe D. Thomas and Laurett Eliza Dodge, who where married Nov. 23, 1866 by Daniel Webb Esq. in Trumbull Ashtabula Co. Ohio, Rosie May was born Jan. 1,1870 in Trumbull Ashtabula County, Ohio.

John Dodge (Wisconsin), m. Emily MATTIS. They had Ethell Margaret DODGE, b. Duluth, MN, 1900, d. Kent, WA, 1970, who m. Frank NUTTER in Wenatchee, WA, 1918 or 1921, They had Bruce NUTTER, b. Chelan, WA, 30 Jun 1921.

My name is Michelle. I have been looking for my grandfather. His first name is Allan or Allen Dodge. This is all I know: he may have been the in Air Force in the 1950's and he dated my grandmother. In 1954 my mother was born Dec. 5 1954 at Cook County Community Hospital in Chicago Ill. If you can help I would really appreciate it. My grandmother also called Allan 'Sarge' so he may have been a Sergeant. My mothers last name at birth was 'Sitter'. My grandmothers name at the time my have been Creta Betty Sitter. Allan may have known her as Furtchsam or Coffey.

The Dodge Family Association is looking for information on Levi Samuel Dodge, who had at least one child, Robert, with a Carrie Jones, maiden name unknown. The child was born in Wellsville N.Y. on Jan 2 1947,Levi was 69 (about) at that time. He was quite abit older than Carrie.Robert married (?) Florence DODGE Babbitt and they had 4 children and gave them up for adoption. Then had 4 more andkept them. Florence is said to be related to Levi. My name is Stephenand I am now 34 years old, born in Maidstone Kent in England my parents separated when I was very young and my father disappeared. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters who know next to nothing about my fathers side of the family and I have always had a desire to trace my family tree. Unfortunately as I was very young when my parents separated and my mother passed away several years ago, so I know almost nothing about my father except his name Colin Dodge I do not know if he is even still alive. I do remember that he has a sister who lived in Canada about 25 years ago but I am afraid that is all I know. We are looking for information on the Dodge Family from Orange, Massachusetts. FrancisDodge was born in Orange or a neighboring town in the 1700's. His wife (Adams) was a decendent of President John Adams. There were two sons and several daughters, all who resided in the Boston, Whitman, Cape Cod, and Worcester area communities.

Searching for information on Harvey Dodge b. in 1919 to Henry Dodge and Susan Nuby. His son was Harvey Claude Dodge 3rd who was born in 1949.

Groton (MA) vital records show an Isaac Dodge and Elizabeth Blood were married 4 Jul 1801. However, births of several children of Isaac and Elizabeth Blood are listed beginning in 1775. There appears to be a discrepancy in dates. It is believed that Isaac and Elizabeth were the parents of Frederick Dodge who was born about 1770. He m. Alice (Conant) Dodge and settled in Lyme, NH. Their daughter, Lydia was b. 1806 in Hanover, NH; married Anson Stark 29 Jan 1835. They had David Conant Stark, born 13 Jul 1839, Lyme, NH
