Stones 1 and 2 in this row have a mystery attached to them. Elizabeth was the daughter of Rev. Josiah who was the minister of the church at Wenham Neck, and his wife, Eliza A Keely,. She died in Maine at the age of 16. Right next to her stone is a matching stone for William E. Dodge who died 7 days later by his own hand. 7 days is just enough time for news to travel, back then, from Maine to Massachusetts. What is the mystery? Inscription on the stones:
