For several years, we have struggled with the ancestry of Henry Dodge who married Lourena/Laurena Jolly. 
   Henry was born in Hardin County, Kentucky, and we thought that he belonged to the family of Rev. Josiah Rogers Dodge who was a Baptist minister and went to Kentucky to preach.  The problem was that while there were records of other descendents of Rev. Josiah's, no one had found records of Henry.     We thought Henry might be a child of Josiah Jr., and his 1st wife, Drusilla Hendricks; but again, no one could provide us with information regarding offspring of this marriage.... Until now!
    David Hudson, who had done research on his wife's Dodge line, contacted us with the information he found.  He was able to prove that Josiah Jr. and Drusilla indeed had two children.    There is at least one more mystery family that some believe belongs in this family line.  That is a mystery regarding E. Louis/Lewis Dodge who married Elizabeth Perkins.
