Subject: Help with Dodge photo From: Carol Date: Tue, 27 May 2008 09:16:52 -0700 (PDT) To: barbvdodge@dodgeoffice.net Hello, I hope you don't mind me contacting you. I found an old photo at an antique sale about 10 years ago of "John, Jennie and Julie Dodge of Medford, Oregon." It was identified as such on the back of the photograph. I have tried to find family to reunite this photo with, but haven't had much luck. Might your organization have anyone researching Dodges in Medford? I am guessing that the photo was taken around 1900-1910, although it could be earlier, and perhaps later. The trio look to be in their early 20's. Perhaps in their teens. It was taken at the Hull Studio in Medford, Oregon. I have been reuniting old photos with genealogists for many years now as a hobby, and now that I am moving to a new home across the country, I am hoping to quickly find homes for these pictures so I don't have to move them. All I ask from anyone who receives a photo is that they reimburse me postage and what I paid for it. (In this case, $5 + postage). It's sad, but the last few people I've sent photos to haven't bother to thank or reimburse me (to one I sent over 20 civil war era photos). I suppose that's okay, as long as they are back in the hands of family, but I'm not a wealthy person by any stretch, so it's always nice when people behave considerately. Anyway, if you could pass this on to other Dodge researchers, I'd be very happy. Best regards, Carol MacKay carol_mackay@yahoo.com
