Daniel is buried in the Pioneer Cemetery, Watsonville.
 
He is descended from Leonard Hood DODGE & Betsey Dodge BEATON;
Father:     descended from Daniel Hood DODGE & Judith [--?--]
                descended from Daniel DODGE and Martha (Patty) DAVIS
                descended from Zachariah DODGE and Sarah SOMES
Mother:    descended from William BEATON and Naomi DODGE (note: Wm. Beaton made the marker for
                    Charlotte DODGE as his name is on the marker--he was a stone mason)
                descended from Joseph DODGE and Betsey LEEMAN
                descended from Morris Somes DODGE and Huldah DAVIS
                descended from Zachariah DODGE and Sarah SOMES
 
Note that the two DAVIS women listed above are sisters and they are from Moses DAVIS and Sarah ROLFE.  They intermarried quite a bit back there.
 
Etta Mae was the daughter of William DEHART and Mary Ann Rodabough.
