Everett Dodge was born in Canada and entered the United States with his parents in 1940. He entered the US Navy Officers training, was commissioned as and Ensign, and graduated from the University of Southern
California in Naval Science in 1946. After military service, he received a degree in Civil Engineering. He, with his wife Doris, spent four years in England as Construction Manager for Europe and the Middle East. They returned to the US in 1964 where he worked as Department Manager in real estate development involving apartment and office buildings. In 1972, he established his own company specializing in office building development. He has participated in many civic activities: Planning Commission, Chairman of Distinguished Citizens Award Company, Administration Board Chairman of the Methodist Church, Board of Governors of the University of Southern California, and Board of Directors of the Dodge Family Association. Everett and Doris have one son and 2 grandchildren.
