Earl Farwell Dodge

Earl F. Dodge of Lakewood, Colorado served as Secretary of The Dodge Family Association's and earlier had served as treasurer. He was one of the original founders of the Dodge Family Association. Earl died very suddenly at Denver International Airport on November 7, 2007.
Earl Farwell Dodge was born in Malden, Mass. on December 24, 1932, son of Earl Farwell Dodge and Dorothy May Harris. On July 20, 1951 he married Barbara Viola Regan in Boston, Mass. They have seven children and 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He served as National Chairman of the Prohibition Party for more than 40 years and was the Presidential Nominee of that party in each national election starting in 1984. He was also Secretary-Treasurer of the National Prohibition Foundation, Inc., President of the Partisan Prohibition Historical Society and of the American Civic League. He received awards from the Good Government Association (Kalamazoo, Michigan), the Colorado Right to Life Committee, and the Sons of the American Revolution. He was Chairman of the Board of Deacons of Arvada Baptist Church (Arvada, Colorado) and for about 32 years before his death, he operated a mail-order business involving the sale of political buttons, badges, ribbons, etc. Earl and Barbara hosted several tours to England so that other Dodges could see the places associated with Dodges before they came to America. Earl and Barbara also ran the Dodge Office, and published the Dodge Family Journal, a 6 page newsletter that comes out 6 times a year. Barbara continues with that work for the Dodge Association and also takes care of the Dodge Family website, dodgefamily.org. |
